Pros

Great place if you're a man! Only people who are promoted, given special treatment, or any type of respect are men and buddies of the C-Suite. Otherwise, you're out of luck!

Cons

Everything. Terrible leadership who micromanage but also don't do anything on their own. Everything is a fire alarm but priorities get changed on a dime. There are always issues, arguments, and countless reasons why things can't change, yet everyone is expected to "improve" performance with absolutely no support from management nor any incentives for said performance. It's a total dead-end job that will overwork you with empty promises that things will get better. People are hired on and let go after just a few months for literally no reason. Managers are useless and just there to kiss up to the execs, and they will kick you under the bus at any opportunity they get. The working environment is also incredibly toxic and patriarchal. There is also blatant unfair treatment towards certain people. Those who are liked (aka men on the teams) are allowed more flexible work schedules and even allowed to work from home on certain days, while others are expected to come in early, leave late, work on holidays and weekends, and never recognized for their efforts.

Pros

Great team. Great product that is making a big difference in so many people’s lives and in the diabetes industry. Coverage is growing and it’s an easier sell as pharmacy coverage expands. Option to work remote is appreciated. Senior management is transparent and open with company goals and standings. Compensation is very competitive, especially combined with stock opportunities.

Cons

Not a great work life balance. East coast/central reps tend to work longer hours than west coast reps, which is typical for companies that are spread out and have headquarters on the west coast. Would be nice to encourage better work life balance for the team. “Unlimited PTO” with a larger team results in reps competing for days off or not using as much PTO as they would if they had a set limit.
