Pros
They did require a lot from you, but it helped you to become more qualified in the sense of competencies, personal SMART goals and other initiatives. Coworkers in the department were wonderful, everyone had the same ideas in mind and was unified.
Cons
Salary is not comparable to other area facilities. Upper management was a lot of talk during staff meetings-questions were often side-stepped. Could be cliquey depending upon where you work/what you do for the hospital. Insurance coverage had changed, so depending on what PCP you had selected, your copay for a sick visit has increased dramatically (in some cases up to $75 per office visit depending on what tier Lahey felt your PCP should be in). Ideas proposed by low-level employees for business development/growth were not taken into consideration.
