Pros
I love my immediate team – we all get along swimmingly and work together really well. I call them my friends, not just colleagues. The product is why I joined and I have lots of faith that it is a genius product that will go far. The office vibe is very casual and not intimidating so I enjoy coming into the office 2 days a week.
Cons
I don't feel like I get recognized for my successes – usually someone else who has a higher position gets recognized for my success. Leadership sticks their nose into every little project, which ends up holding the team back from doing things effectively and efficiently. Leadership makes decisions for projects in departments they know nothing about because of "gut feelings" and they also don't give actionable feedback on how departments should change or fix the projects they didn't like because of said "gut feelings". I am honestly not sure there is much career development here, not just for me but for lots of people. Seems like once you're here, you're stuck.
