Cons
In my opinion, training is non-existent. You’re basically thrown into the job with minimal training and expected to know what you’re doing. I’ve asked for training because I want to know more but still nothing. The work life balance here is really hard. I end up working closing shifts a lot which eat up most of your day. You also end up doing a lot of closing and then opening the next morning which we call “clopening”. Between these shifts you don’t even have enough to get home, eat, and shower. You end up working almost every weekend and you don’t even get two days off in a row often. Extended hours on Christmas Eve. Do I need to say more? Low quality management. Laziness. Does not care about employees. Upper management turns a blind eye to what’s going on in stores so they don’t have to deal with it. Upper management does not allow enough time to complete projects and we don’t have enough payroll. Expectations are so much higher than reality. Not enough pay, time, or training for the quality of work they want.
