Pros

- Good place to start working as a first job. - They do provide you with all the equipment and train you in MOST of the things. - Teammates are awesome, and they love to joke around, they have a group for basically anything (from music production, anime to gaming or food) - Pay is OK, at least for a Mexican standard. The benefits are okay too. - 7 days of sick time, unlimited PTO (which they masked as "them being nice to you" by the way!) - If a customer starts behaving like a child and yells or insults you, you are 100% allowed to end the call or chat.

Cons

- They keep adding new features to the platform, and MOST OF THE TIME you end up finding about them due to customers asking questions. Meaning that you have no idea what they are talking about. In short: they push updates without notification to support staff. - You get trained on how3 to troubleshoot SOME things, but they leave MANY and I mean MANY features out of the training sessions, you end up finding about those features by yourself with a customer on the line. - The workload is REALLY heavy. When you are not handling phones or in a chat (which, by the way, can be 2 chats at the same time) you are answering emails. - They are heavily understaffed for T1 support. With 7 phone agents at the time and a queue of over 10 customers. Yes, this includes peak seasons. WFM has a terrible hand with schedules. - They hire 3 new agents and fire 5. - Asking for advice from management most of the time ends up confused and managers sending you an internal KB link or regurgitating the same information you already know. - THERE IS A LOT OF FAVORITISM. If you have good ties with management, you'll get promoted in no time. - They are unaware of many laws in Mexico, as they are pretty new. Don't expect your paycheck to arrive on time and don't expect any real answer, as they love to lie about that! - A customer has an issue where they can't log in and a tier 2 or manager is unable to get them to log in? Well, you are on your own! If any attempt fails, there are no further instructions on what to do. Yes, that leaves room for a lot of frustration from both the customer and you. - Ninjas have no word on anything. Feedback is not taken from support staff. They give preference to project managers, even when support receives many complaints from customers.

Pros

There is a lot of new leadership breathing newness into the company. There is a rebrand on the horizon, different focuses and positioning, complimentary portfolio products, brilliant staff, new company values and more.

Cons

There has been a ton of change and while the new leadership is great, they are still getting their touch on things. This isn't all so much a con in general as it is to absorb, communicate, explain and soak in.

Pros

- BC hires great people - Is finally focusing on the product and its ideal customer rather than trying to be a product that it isn't. - Supportive culture - Good work life balance - Senior and Director leadership is caring and supportive - Really positive outlook for the product

Cons

- Has cut 10% of staff every year for the last 3 years and last year they cut most of their top performers that brought in the most revenue - No 401k match (although they may now) - Lower pay than most tech companies for the same roles - Either BC has the right people in place or they have the right direction to work in with the right leadership but never both - If you are remote, you aren't invited to the office much even for kick offs or planning. So you will feel a bit secluded. - Not much room for career growth as they keep cutting people
