Pros

Work hours - as a salaried employee you are only required to work 37.5hr/week and you have some flexibility to come in early (7:30/8am) and leave relatively early (4pm) or a typical 9am-5pm. Company is family owned and small enough that you will interact with all levels entry - VP's. Bigelow offers tuition reimbursement.

Cons

Limited room for growth. Manager level is very hit or miss, some are internal hires that generally know a lot, but may not be the best at managing people/projects/teams. Other managers are hired from outside and are practically useless.

One of the things I appreciate most is the company’s deep commitment to doing good for the environment and for the community. Sustainability isn’t just a buzzword here; it’s built into the culture and shows up in real, tangible initiatives. Bigelow also gives back through various charitable programs, which makes it easy to feel proud of the work we do. Overall, the culture is warm, supportive, and purpose-driven. It’s the kind of place where you can feel good not only about your job, but about the impact the company is making in the world.
