Bio-Rad Laboratories Response

We appreciate hearing your perspective. While bonuses have been less than expected, as they are ultimately tied to the company's financial performance. We understand that it's disappointing when we miss our targets, but we're putting significant effort into making the changes needed so that Bio-Rad can continue to thrive in the future. February's layoff (part of our restructuring plan) was necessary as we realign to meet our market. We do hope you feel empowered to continue to share your thoughts and ideas as we move forward.

Pros

I love my co workers and the ability to make my customers happy. Benefits are alright and I do like the products.

Cons

Modern marketing is non existent and the company has been taken over by sweater vest tech bros who feel phony at best. This company is too large to innovate or be nimble, yet too small to acquire new things to sell. Salaries are just so low now that I might need to leave, then come back just to get a pay raise. I’m seeing similar jobs posted for 20% more base than I make 10 years in. No transparency on advancements and annual raises do not reflect effort and making too close to plan on sales just sets you up for failure in the next year. I’d say use this company for a few years then move on.
