Pros

Paycheck, Flexibility, Nice People, Sales tools are functional

Cons

When I first joined the company it was full of great passion and commitment to the values originally founded on. Then came the corporatization, where process and protectionism has stifled innovation and new ideas. The company is in a tailspin with all their eggs in one or two deteriorating baskets. Due to the recent RIF, its worse with leadership at all levels not wanting to poke their heads out with new ideas in fear of being on the chopping block or just wanting to ride out the last few years before retirement. The sad fact is there are people in the organization with great ideas and ambition to improve the business, but there is a pervasive gatekeeping mentality that prohibits trying new ways or strategies - again the thinking is don't rock the boat, or you will walk the plank.

We appreciate you taking the time to share your perspective here on Glassdoor. We're not quite sure how to respond in a way that will make you ultimately feel heard--you seem pretty set in the impression that new ideas aren't welcome and/or are being suppressed. But we're here and we're listening. Your ideas and experience could be a tremendous asset and resource. Is it time for you to lead? We encourage you to share more of your thoughts about what needs improving so that we can continue to fulfill our mission as a company. Pros

I love my co workers and the ability to make my customers happy. Benefits are alright and I do like the products.

Cons

Modern marketing is non existent and the company has been taken over by sweater vest tech bros who feel phony at best. This company is too large to innovate or be nimble, yet too small to acquire new things to sell. Salaries are just so low now that I might need to leave, then come back just to get a pay raise. I’m seeing similar jobs posted for 20% more base than I make 10 years in. No transparency on advancements and annual raises do not reflect effort and making too close to plan on sales just sets you up for failure in the next year. I’d say use this company for a few years then move on.
