Pros

My fellow employees are a delight. The Bio-Rad community is great! Very easy to talk to Management. There are several spectacular initiatives going on at Bio-Rad that will innovate healthcare and change the way we do things. Bio-Rad is fantastic for work/life balance - being a long term Bio-Rad employee has made it easy to start and raise a family. It also makes it easy to enjoy my granddaughter. I love and am dedicated to the mission: We advance science and save lives, together. Lots of opportunities for being mentored, continued learning, and tuition reimbursement support - Bio-Rad paid for 3 of my degrees. Easy to suggest ideas for products, product improvements, innovation, etc. in a format that is guaranteed to be accessed by subject matter experts.

Cons

Sill recovering from Post-Covid Some of the procedures make it hard for Discovery

Pros

I love my co workers and the ability to make my customers happy. Benefits are alright and I do like the products.

Cons

Modern marketing is non existent and the company has been taken over by sweater vest tech bros who feel phony at best. This company is too large to innovate or be nimble, yet too small to acquire new things to sell. Salaries are just so low now that I might need to leave, then come back just to get a pay raise. I’m seeing similar jobs posted for 20% more base than I make 10 years in. No transparency on advancements and annual raises do not reflect effort and making too close to plan on sales just sets you up for failure in the next year. I’d say use this company for a few years then move on.
