Pros

Laid back, easy work. A lot of nice people.

Cons

This company suffers from zero accountability at every level. Projects are routinely over budget and delivered late, with no meaningful consequences or course corrections. Leadership fosters a toxic environment where blame is the norm and support is nonexistent. Due to the inability to attract or retain top talent, teams are filled with inexperienced engineers and project managers who are set up to fail. The result? Half-baked products that barely meet customer expectations. The only offerings that hold any ground in the market are low-tech, commoditized products—or instruments acquired through startup acquisitions. Innovation from within is virtually nonexistent. If you’re looking for a place to grow your skills or work on high-quality, impactful products, look elsewhere.

Pros

I love my co workers and the ability to make my customers happy. Benefits are alright and I do like the products.

Cons

Modern marketing is non existent and the company has been taken over by sweater vest tech bros who feel phony at best. This company is too large to innovate or be nimble, yet too small to acquire new things to sell. Salaries are just so low now that I might need to leave, then come back just to get a pay raise. I’m seeing similar jobs posted for 20% more base than I make 10 years in. No transparency on advancements and annual raises do not reflect effort and making too close to plan on sales just sets you up for failure in the next year. I’d say use this company for a few years then move on.
