      Pros

      Bio-Rad is a great place to work, The potential for hard working people is great, Management does care about your future and your career. I would recommend Bio-Rad to anyone coming out of school and wanting to learn and grow. The work life balance can be good depending on who you work for and if that division or department is considered essential or if it is Hybrid or fully remote.

      Cons

      Very Slow to change. The pay is not excellent, but it can be a good starting place. I only wish that they would listen more to their employees. They say that they listen, and they do all sorts of surveys and ask the right questions. But when it comes to changing and actually following thru with anything that the employees ask for that is almost impossible. Management can all work remotely whenever they want to. But employees are held to either remote fully or Hybrid 2 days a week remotely even within the same division.

It is concerning however that you feel there is a lack of followthrough. We do have a very clear policy in place that accounts for remote, hybrid, and essential roles and we understand your frustration that the policy is not always being followed.       Pros

      I love my co workers and the ability to make my customers happy. Benefits are alright and I do like the products.

      Cons

      Modern marketing is non existent and the company has been taken over by sweater vest tech bros who feel phony at best. This company is too large to innovate or be nimble, yet too small to acquire new things to sell. Salaries are just so low now that I might need to leave, then come back just to get a pay raise. I’m seeing similar jobs posted for 20% more base than I make 10 years in. No transparency on advancements and annual raises do not reflect effort and making too close to plan on sales just sets you up for failure in the next year. I’d say use this company for a few years then move on.
