Pros
Decent Pay A lot of overtime with the implement of travel hours
Cons
It is very difficult to actually get approved for PTO when you are a floater. There is absolutely no predictability. The territory is so broad, you don’t know if you’re going to have to commute an hour or THREE hours from home the next day. Weekly schedule is never sent out, supervisors will tell you where you’re going to be working the morning of. Then when you finally get to the site, they will call you and reroute you to another account that is an hour and a half away. I would say the work life balance is very poor. If you are a good employee they will constantly use you. They say there is a lot of room for growth, but unless you plan on working as a supervisor or in management, there’s really not.
