Pros
Boston site: The site is somewhat small so if you get along with your team it is easy to foster close relationships. The company also did a lot to "treat" the employees. One year we got Patagonia puffer jackets, and nice zip ups. They had a social committee budget and would hold social events now and then.
Cons
The workplace is toxic! The turnover is high, and it's very difficult to get a raise or promotion unless you are in with the "right" people. Promotions are decided within the whole management committee- so managers who you have never worked with have a say if you get a raise or promotion. The pay is far below industry standard for the lower level lab techs and scientists. The people are gossipy and hold grudges.
