Pros
- Opportunity to grow - Educational opportunities (paid MS/MBA/PhD programs) - Incredible benefits; LTI, bonus, stock options, ESPP, full healthcare coverage, onsite support, onsite gym, etc - Forward momentum in your career if you take opportunities - Attentive management all the way up the chain; regular 1:1s with managers, skip levels, etc - Wonderful support for LGBTQ+/disabled/neurodiverse employees
Cons
- Work-life balance has shifted since WFH became priority; a bit harder to "leave" work - Internal reporting structure changes OFTEN; transparency when it does change, but makes figuring out the reporting structure difficult at times - Easy to burn out if you're not careful - Perks (discount programs) are offered one year and taken away the next; can be frustrating if trying to plan for family time - Prior to COVID, little flexibility in remote working; Cambridge HQ is hard to move to if you're in a support role (Director or below) and aren't offered relo - Raises outside of the yearly COL raise are very rare, even for outperforming employees
