Pros
I'm grateful for Birdeye, which allowed me to get back on top of my life and health (unlike a former company that doesn't care about employees and personal growth/recovery). Remote work, flexibility, and a positive and respectful culture greatly helped. Birdeye has a lot to offer and regularly invests in staying ahead of the curve. The technical vision and implementation let engineers get work done and learn in the process. Autonomy is a plus. Everyone I met was competent and friendly. Many are great at thinking out of the box and delivering I feel like I'm pretty well paid, and I'm not looking for other jobs that could be better paid. I value the balance I found here.
Cons
There is a lot to do and bets to make to prioritize. Keeping it all together can be challenging, but that's what fast growth brings. The high-performance culture, meant to create a winning team, is okay to have.
