Sorry you do not feel your concerns were heard. The structure of the HR dept. has changed, so I am not sure who you spoke to at the time you worked for the company about the manager. A lot has changed with the company, even since I joined. When I first joined, the management teams were not complete and managers were working 55 plus hours. As our management teams are fully staffed across the 10 (soon to be 11) locations, our managers now work between 40 - 45 hours a week. Also when I joined in 2013, we aligned the profile of our talent with the business strategy and started to hold managers accountable for the performance of their location. Changing the profile of our talent has had a positive impact on business. For example, locations are performing, turnover is low among our skilled positions, operations run smoother, we are seeing more internal promotions into our various roles - managers, drivers, groomers, etc.
