Pros
The animals of course, and their "parents"
Cons
Long hours, poor pay, poor practices and procedures, general disdain for ideas. I worked at biscuits and bath as a front desk supervisor for just about 6 months. In that time I witness several animal injuries due to improper practices. In one particularly horrid instance, a shared bowl of water at the Upper East Side infected 70% of the dogs with Kennel Cough. The management knew this. They kept the shared water bowl going. For a company that's meant to be focused on the love of animals, the focus was the bottom line. Which of course didn't translate to employees who all earned minimum wage and worked with ex-convicts, some the perpetrators of violent crimes, without their knowledge. I loved a few of the dogs. I still keep in touch with a few of the owners three years later, but it really worth being overworked and underpaid. If I could, I'd give B&B no stars.
