Biscuits & Bath

Is this your company?

As a dog handler, they do not care for the dogs, let alone their employees; your dog is a number, not a friend here. - Dog Handler Biscuits & Bath Employee Review

Pros

Will hire nearly anyone. I mean, nearly anyone. It's great if you need a job ASAP and have no experience in anything or are just desperate.

Cons

They do not generally care for well being of your furry relative. Take note - they will nickname your dog something awful like the "sh*t vacuum" as a dog was called in my time there for his horrid anxiety and there disciplinary methods are flawed and honestly outdated.

Biscuits & Bath Response

From the last sentence of your review (stop treating our furry relatives like numbers), I am not sure if you were client or an employee. At your convenience, please give me a call on 212-401-3024 or email me on abraithwaite@biscuitsandbath.com, so we can investigate. Please provide the dog's name and the location where the incident occurred. If you were an employee, it was not clear from your review what steps you took regarding the situation - i.e. raising the issue to the manager of the location and/ or Human Resources. We have procedures in place and our associates are to escalate all issues with the dogs. For those reading this review who would like a better understanding of our hiring process for the Dog Handler role, please read the 2014 & 2015 interview reviews on this website. The 2015 Dog Trainer review actually describes the dog handler hiring process. The hiring process for Dog Trainers is much different. The July 2014 review is very detailed and gives a good idea of what to expect. The only thing that has changed is where training takes place. - Allison Braithwaite
