Pros

I started working at Bison 10 months ago and at the time I was looking for a place to hang my hat at the end of the day as my career is winding down. I must say that I made a great choice at choosing Bison because they have all the great work environments I was looking for. To start, the great safety record and awards they keep receiving makes you aware that they have and strive for a perfect safety to make sure everybody arrives home safe. There decision to drive policy is one that I have never seen before, which is awesome knowing that they just don't care about the circumstances, just get that load there on time. The equipment is great, great people and the open door policy is awesome, competitive wages and most of all great home time!! Overall I would rank them in the top 10'companies I've worked for since 1981. Keep up the awesome work Bison and I should be around until, hmmm 2030 or longer depending on the situation. 🤓

Cons

Hmmm, it's hard to think of some cons after saying all those Pros, but here we go.....being an hourly company driver I don't think it was fair that the highway and o/o's got a increase and we didn't, seems unfair, it could go up some. The parking of vehicles it at a minimum ie, tractors, trailers and personal vehicles. Some of the yards are very muddy...oh and last but not least another Pro, having the availability of free coffe and tea and the bbq's in the summer is awesome.😎

Pros

Great company who takes care of their drivers. Support is readily available, pay is competitive, and miles are there.

Cons

No cons, got exactly what was sold to me. The majority of people only take the time to review when they have something negative to say

Pros

Good opportunity to gain experience managing major customer accounts, handling high shipment volumes, and learning different areas of transportation and logistics. You get exposure to operations, customer service, carrier management, and problem-solving.

Cons

The workload can be heavy, especially when managing multiple high-volume accounts at the same time. Communication between departments can sometimes be inconsistent, and work-life balance may depend heavily on your team and assigned customers.
