Pros

Good product, smart people in the trenches

Cons

Don't value people unless you are "liked" by the exec team. Women are treated poorly, do all the work while the all-male leadership takes the credit.

Thank you for sharing your experience and feedback. This is the first that we are hearing of this and it contradicts the feedback and the trends that we have seen in recent employee surveys. Over the past year, we have implemented various diversity and inclusion initiatives to support, grow, and engage our employees; some specifically targeting our women employees. These include the Women's Mentor Program, Inclusion Training for all people managers, increased company-wide recognition, and improved talent and performance management processes. We hope that each of these initiatives will continue to create inclusive, productive, and rich working experiences for our employees. As a woman who resides on the executive team, I am proud that our Senior Leadership Team is not an all-male group. Additionally, one-third of all employees promoted last year were women. We are constantly striving to increase the representation of women at all levels within BitSight, and have seen good progress on this over the past few years. We are sorry that you did not have a better experience during your time at BitSight. Thank you again for sharing your feedback with us.

Pros

- Lots of opportunities for cross-functional work/working with senior-level SMEs - EOY Bonus (usually) - Great benefits (Flexible PTO policy/stipends)

Cons

- Exec suite does not care about you! - Pay is not competitive; was paid significantly less relative to market for experience (didn't realize this until too late, mgmt wouldn't adjust salary either) - No cost-of-living raises over the 2 years I worked there (No raise at all, ever, actually! And no support to be promoted from within) - Layoffs occur twice a year, and everyone is replaceable
