Pros

The product impressive and the product/engenering tema is amazing.

Cons

Worked there for 4 years. They sent me on business trips while breastfeeding and during covid. Managers are all director's personal friends so unless you are a friend you will never be promoted in your life. From time to time they just lay off people without any reason. If you do not agree with something your are just set aside and lay off on the next round.

Thank you for sharing your feedback. One of our top priorities at BitSight is to maintain a respectful, equitable, and welcoming work environment for all employees so I am sorry to hear about your experience. We appreciate hearing from you and value the opportunity to address your comments: We are a people first company and prioritize the health and safety of our employees. We had a zero travel policy during COVID to ensure our employees were not unnecessarily exposed to the coronavirus and closed all of our offices for an extended period of time. Our internal review and promotion process is incredibly thorough and consistent for every employee regardless of personal connections. We are proud of the female representation in our sales organization across all of the customer teams. In fact, as of today we have a record number of women in leadership and managerial positions that have been hired externally or promoted from within. Additionally, our sales team is now represented by women in almost 50% of our growing team.

Pros

- Lots of opportunities for cross-functional work/working with senior-level SMEs - EOY Bonus (usually) - Great benefits (Flexible PTO policy/stipends)

Cons

- Exec suite does not care about you! - Pay is not competitive; was paid significantly less relative to market for experience (didn't realize this until too late, mgmt wouldn't adjust salary either) - No cost-of-living raises over the 2 years I worked there (No raise at all, ever, actually! And no support to be promoted from within) - Layoffs occur twice a year, and everyone is replaceable
