      Pros

      BitSight is an extremely fast-growing and exciting place to work. The company has enjoyed tremendous success over the past couple years, and shows all signs of continuing on that trajectory. Engineering challenges abound, but the high-quality team is well equipped to meet them. Employees are valued, and there are many opportunities for career growth, and to learn about the latest software and techniques in large-scale data analytics.

      Cons

      There is always far more work than engineers, and BitSight expects a great deal from everyone. The traffic in the area is generally terrible.

      Pros

      - Lots of opportunities for cross-functional work/working with senior-level SMEs - EOY Bonus (usually) - Great benefits (Flexible PTO policy/stipends)

      Cons

      - Exec suite does not care about you! - Pay is not competitive; was paid significantly less relative to market for experience (didn't realize this until too late, mgmt wouldn't adjust salary either) - No cost-of-living raises over the 2 years I worked there (No raise at all, ever, actually! And no support to be promoted from within) - Layoffs occur twice a year, and everyone is replaceable
