Pros
Bizzabo has provided me with a great deal of autonomy. They trust employees with a lot of responsibility, and in return, employees (we call ourselves Bizzaboers) are expected to make a real impact. Management often discusses the importance of prioritization, collaboration, and getting stuff done. It's exciting because each day it feels like all of our work is really helping to drive our business forward. When I started, two years ago, we were four people in a small office in SoHo. Today, we've grown 5x and will continue to grow more and more in the coming months. Our growth is a direct result of the hard work we have all put in, and it is very gratifying to see that work pay off in a big way.
Cons
Since Bizzabo is a startup, there is always more to be done. For some people, that can feel overwhelming. Bizzabo isn't the place for someone who expects to be closely managed, or who is uncomfortable with tackling hard problems. If you're a self-starter who is interested in working hard in order to contribute to a great company, you've found the right place.
