Pros
Bizzabo has extremely ambitious goals (20% month over month growth) and is not afraid to publicly declare them. If you are an ambitious person willing to work hard, then there is a lot of opportunity to be successful. The company motto is to take charge of a situation by doing above and beyond what is asked for; you are expected to be pro-active in identifying opportunity. Communication is emphasized with weekly team meetings and plenty of opportunity to speak to management directly (who is very open to suggestion). Bizzabo is a data-driven company; the product team communicates with the customer success and sales team weekly to prioritize new feature development. Marketing has high goals as well, which they accomplish by publishing great content both generated in-house and by partners. Bizzabo is also a very tight-knit company; leadership is trying to preserve a fun culture that can scale. Its a very rewarding and everyone's success is celebrated.
Cons
Growing very quickly as a company is bound to have growing pains and risk common to technology start-ups trying to scale. The average company employee is probably around 26 to 28 so they still have a lot to learn before they are truly seasoned veterans. However new hiring is focused on more experienced salespeople. This is not a 9 to 5 job; you are expected to take on additional responsibilities, hop on calls before and after hours and generally work as hard as company leadership works. So it just depends, for you, is the juice is worth the squeeze ?
