Pros

Lower level employees and managers are capable and kind, had a great time working with them

Cons

- Management writes lying glowing glassdoor reviews to try and counteract the truthful ones, blaming it on layoffs and not their own gross mismanagement (I was not laid off, so don't let them blame this review on that!) - The entire C-Suite is a bunch of buddies who started this company straight out of school and have 0 other start up experience, and it shows BADLY. Initiatives are started and ended purely out of vanity with 0 market research or any focus on what actually matters to customers. For instance, one CSO they hired had too many ideas about how to fix their demand-gen, and wanted to change things to right the ship, but was fired after only joining a month earlier for stirring the pot too much . Eran/Alon need to quit and hand the business over to professionals who know how to grow a start up responsibly instead of splashing money on useless acquisitions like spending 3 million on a start up of 4 people whose only contribution was a clapping overlay onto live streams, or millions on two new offices right before laying off 70% of the workforce. Their head of sales is completely incompetent, using desperate phrases like "smash those square pegs into round holes" to tell salespeople to close more deals without any actionable help to actually make that happen. - CEO tried to spin a downround of $38 million after a $130 million raise as a positive thing, when it in pretty much made any stock grants worthless because insight partners now has a 6x clawback, so no one other than VC's is going to see a penny from any potential exit. - Product direction changed every month, adding new half baked features that no one wanted and barely worked instead of fixing the core product which had issues with it every single day. Trying to show it off to potential customers became a game of "avoid this days bug." This all culminated in a 3 day outage across the platform, breaking our SLA's and tanking any remaining credibility with clients. - After this huge outage, the C-suite apparently decided to just fire the ENTIRE CS and Account management org, and replace it with an outsourced team in Mexico - Sales literally never hit Quota the entirety of my time there, but despite that they kept expanding and expanding the sales team without any new pipeline, leading to many 0% quarters for reps, so if your in sales, stay away! - Marketing team was incompetent and employees in marketing churned every 3-6 months so there was never any unified messaging, but instead the C-Suite spent thousands if not millions on fancy events with existing customers to cozy up to them that resulted in absolutely 0 new revenue - Event space is stupid crowded, and in a race to the bottom, and Bizzabo's share of the pie is only going to decrease

Pros

Relatively stable processes, clear product visions

Cons

Developer experience was an afterthought esp. with internal tools. Engineering leadership is more emotion/personality than anything else. Poor communication and transparency culture, lack of clear priorities.
