Pros

As long as you stay longer than a year, there will be opportunities for advancement. You are given the tools necessary to succeed and are routinely offered additional training on any number of topics. You can explore any number of available positions within the company.

Cons

Management is extremely cutthroat. If they don't like you or they don't see you as a "top performer" they won't hestitate to fire you. They are so enthralled with revenue and numbers that they have lost sight of making great software for people out in the world working for worthy causes. Blackbaud also doesn't pay as high as they should, compared to industry standards.

Pros

Decent pay, remote work flexibility, you get to work with some very talented folks.

Cons

Used to be proud to work for Blackbaud but that has all but disappeared in last 2 years. Poor and ineffective leadership, false transparency, frequent layoffs, bonuses based off of stock which has been tanking. It's a sinking ship. Avoid at all costs.
