Pros

A big company and a very stable place to work. Good salary and benefits. Great community involvement, philanthropy, and volunteerism pushes from their corp philanthropy team.

Cons

As the years went on after going public, the parties got cheaper, the culture collapsed in search of a better stock price, and the in-house technology became outdated. Way too many levels of middle management, and their implementation of "agile" development was really standard waterfall interrupted with weekly 30-person meetings, where the most unqualified people talked the most (so they'd be seen "contributing"). Bottom-tier talent is never fired, just moved from department to department.

Pros

Decent pay, remote work flexibility, you get to work with some very talented folks.

Cons

Used to be proud to work for Blackbaud but that has all but disappeared in last 2 years. Poor and ineffective leadership, false transparency, frequent layoffs, bonuses based off of stock which has been tanking. It's a sinking ship. Avoid at all costs.
