Pros

They care about keeping their consultants happy. They consistently survey us and have made improvements (like adding paid time off as a benefit) as a result of consultants’ feedback.

Cons

It’s not like a traditional large-scale management consulting company like McKinsey or Bain where you feel like you work for that company. I have more of a connection with my clients than with Blend, but that’s not really a bad thing because I’ve worked with my client for a long time.

Pros

Honestly, the thing I didn't expect was how much people here actually want to help you succeed. I've reached out to colleagues across teams and time zones since starting and everyone has been warm, generous with their time, and genuinely invested in making sure I'm set up well. That's not nothing. The work is interesting and the timing feels right. Being in the AI and data space right now means there's real energy behind what the company is doing, and you feel that in the day-to-day. Leadership communicates in a way that actually feels personal, which I appreciate more than I expected to. The team I'm on is collaborative and thoughtful, and there's an obvious effort to build culture on purpose rather than just hope it happens. Company events and internal programming feel considered, not like checkbox exercises.

Cons

Being globally distributed is genuinely great in a lot of ways, but coordinating across time zones takes real effort and you have to be intentional about building relationships remotely. Not a dealbreaker, just something to go in with eyes open about. Some processes are still developing, which makes sense for a growing company. If you like building and figuring things out, you'll be fine. If you need a lot of structure from day one, expect a bit of a ramp.

It’s wonderful to hear that the intentional culture we’re building at Blend360 has made such a positive impact during your first year. We truly believe our people are our greatest strength, and I’m glad you’ve felt that support across teams and time zones. We appreciate your perspective on the 'intentionality' required for a global, remote-first team. We are committed to continuing to make space for those genuine connections as we grow.
