Pros
The only reason why I give this company more than just one star is because my direct manager was truly fantastic. She seemed to be the only person in the entire company who actually cared about the well-being of the employees, and went so above and beyond trying to make sure we were treated fairly. NONE of the negative things I’m about to say are directed at her.
Cons
The company is ran terribly. So unorganized and chaotic with horrible communication. They would not train people how to do certain things, but then get upset if they did it wrong. There were multiple times, in which people were told several different ways to do a task by different people in management, and nobody knew which was the correct way. Nobody is compensated fairly. The certified techs who went to school to get their national certification, were paid the same as the non-certified and the same as the hub specialists. They would give people an unreasonable amount of tasks and responsibilities, but refuse to compensate them more for it, and when people question their reasoning, or ask for higher pay, they would threaten to fire them. The company fired a bunch of pharmacists, because they “couldn’t afford them” and then made the certified techs do the work that the pharmacists used to do. But they refused to give us even the slightest pay raise for doing a pharmacist’s job. Big babies who complain their way to get special treatment, and to get what they want are praised but somehow the people who quietly work hard and never say a bad thing are treated poorly. Blink Fired so many people without giving any good reason and with absolutely no warning. It was terrifying Going to work every day not knowing if it was going to be your last day or not. We were told that our positions and jobs were safe after Blink did a huge round of firing but a couple months later I was fired and given no good reason. Other people that were fired were let go either right after maternity leave, or when they were about to go on maternity leave, and I was let go right after taking time off due to my husband deploying overseas. On top of that, the company knew that I was about to get a bonus in a couple of weeks and was going to take more time off in a year when my husband returns, so it was all quite fishy and quite obvious on their true reasons for firing me. When I got let go, I asked the HR lady multiple times why I got fired and she gave me absolutely no reason. She kept reassuring me that it was not due to performance, and was basically telling me it was random. Their reasoning to fire one of the only four techs, who was actually certified while keeping the non-certified people who make constant mistakes is beyond me. There was no incentive to work hard, because even if you do, you may still get fired “at random”.
