Techs only make 40k range even with a college degree and military experience and no room to move up. Play favorites with their kids, giving them well to high paying jobs and titles, but giving other employees less opportunity and pay even if they have more experience than their children. For a company doing so well you would think they would compensate better and fairly. Women also have less opportunity and pay. Sorry, it's true. Walmart and TJ Maxx are about to standardize $15 an hour for cashiers. The fact Block isn't willing to pay more than that for some employees is sad. Interns at competing companies and in other industries get higher pay $15 an hour.
