The organization is incredibly short staffed and field staff I know in several regions are burnt out and looking outside of the organization for other opportunities. Many of us do not feel supported in our overwhelming workloads - WE NEED MORE STAFF. There is a definite disconnect between leadership and local field staff. We have lost several employees due to so many restructures, crazy workloads during campaign season, low pay, and low morale. After several years with the organization, I am also resigning because I am burnt out and do not foresee anything changing anytime soon. I am very sad to leave, and I hope LLS can make some major changes to their org structure, pay scale, and number of people they employ.
