Pros

Great product/market fit Lots of resources at your disposal Employees who care about helping Non-Profits C-Suite cheering you on when you close a deal.

Cons

Burnout was pervasive in the sales org. Folks couldn't wait to unplug at the end of the workday and on weekends; not the best sign of satisfaction. You really feel like you're part of a corporate sales machine obsessed with outputs, metrics, and your number on a monthly basis. Without control over your own pipeline and BDRs generating opportunities for you that may not be the best qualified -- it's a tough juggling act. Middle management was stretched thin, managing too many folks and weren't able to give adequate support, leaving to frequent turnover there. C-Suite can be intense about sales -- with the CEO even going on a tirade to yell at the sales org for not hitting their numbers -- only to act euphoric later in the year when already hit our target for the year, geez.

Pros

The product is good and work makes a meaningful impact. Great collaboration with peers and team mates. Work life balance can be good- depending on your team and manager.

Cons

Pay is below market and annual "merit increases" do not at all keep up with cost of living increases. If you aspire for a larger increase you can try to generate enough value for the company by creating far more work for yourself but still unlikely. Promotions are rare outside of yearly reviews. I only know 1 person that has had a direct conversation with a member of the ELT. The CEO is deeply condescending and patronizing with a thin attempt at jocularity. The company works with many environmental non-profits but has no stance on protecting resources while pushing more and more AI usage.
