Pros

Coworkers are fantastic- and the only support you will have.

Cons

I’ve worked at this company for a while now, and it’s been nothing short of a nightmare. The leadership is in complete disarray, with no coherent strategy for the sales team. Since late 2023, there’s been a total lack of support or planning to help us hit quotas. Instead, we’re blamed for not meeting unrealistic goals with zero enablement or guidance. The working conditions are horrendous. Not only are the goals unattainable, but there’s no plan in place to help us reach them. To make matters worse, the salary and compensation plan have continually worsened. What was once already poor has deteriorated further, leaving us fighting for every cent with our own team and coworkers. Communication within the company is abysmal. There’s constant infighting over credit and pay, and it feels like leadership is completely disengaged. They can’t take responsibility for their mistakes, lack transparency, and show no interest in fostering career growth or internal advancement. Benefits are below average and offer little to no support for employees. In summary, this company is a toxic environment with failing leadership and dismal working conditions. I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone seeking a stable or fulfilling career. Look elsewhere if you want a fair working environment where you are set up for success.

Thank you for your honest feedback. We understand your concerns and frustrations, and we've shared them with the Sales Leadership team. We're committed to making improvements, and below, we've detailed the actions the team is taking to address these issues. Compensation/Advancement - Bloomerang strives to maintain competitive salaries based on input from annual 3rd partner market data to help guide compensation to be aligned with industry standards. As it pertains to our sales organization, compensation is a performance driven and reciprocal contract. We are also working to create a clear career path that will outline how a team member can advance their career and enjoy the benefits of increased compensation. Communication - We look to create an open and transparent culture. We have added new leadership with the intent of creating lines of bi-directional communication where an employee can feel safe to share their feedback, concerns or suggestions. We have new senior leadership in place who have established AMA (ask me anything) and round table forums to encourage feedback both in-person or anonymously. We take feedback to heart, as it's our desire to create a strong positive working environment and transparent culture. Training - At Bloomerang, we are absolutely responsible for ensuring a team member's success through successful enablement, knowledge and tools, in exchange we expect our employees to follow best practices and deliver on goals as an early indicator of long term success. We are putting an increased focus into specific role based enablement, coaching and co-selling and re-evaluating our sales motion. We have established a coaching culture, where enablement and frontline leadership will be engaged to help team members up skill industry and product knowledge and soft skills to reach greater success. Goals - As a company successfully grows, sales quotas can change and can feel like really big stretch goals. As we continue to invest in operational efficiencies, we would expect to see a clear path to higher goal attainment. We are and will continue to invest in enablement to ensure team members are equipped with the knowledge and skills required.

Pros

The product is good and work makes a meaningful impact. Great collaboration with peers and team mates. Work life balance can be good- depending on your team and manager.

Cons

Pay is below market and annual "merit increases" do not at all keep up with cost of living increases. If you aspire for a larger increase you can try to generate enough value for the company by creating far more work for yourself but still unlikely. Promotions are rare outside of yearly reviews. I only know 1 person that has had a direct conversation with a member of the ELT. The CEO is deeply condescending and patronizing with a thin attempt at jocularity. The company works with many environmental non-profits but has no stance on protecting resources while pushing more and more AI usage.
