      Pros

      At the end of the day it’s just ice cream.

      Cons

      You’re either micromanaged to death or left alone so much that sometimes you have no idea what’s going on. Poor communication more often than not. So many snakes in the grass. Only trust yourself. Pay is way behind the times. Drivers got no raises this year. Heard supervisors got raises, but in actuality they raised the starting pay and just bumped them to starting pay. Rookie and veteran supervisors now make the same.

      - Lucrative if you put in enough effort - Gain experience in sales, merchandising, DSD, earn Class B CDL - Holiday bonus - Job stability in a fragile market, consistent paychecks

      Cons

      - Nepotism - HR not on-site, so things swept under the rug that should be addressed - Low barrier of entry = revolving door of reps/merchandisers - No upward movement unless someone retires or quits, or you relocate - Frustrating receiver/store issues - Lack of communication and support from Territory Managers, Route Supervisors swamped with work and not able to support due to heavy workload
