Business Outlook
Pros
Fair quotas and aggressive/simple comp plan with great accelerators. Solid solution set and solid strategy/go to market. Exec Mgmnt is exceptional with many years of security industry experience (mainly McAfee). Execs are more than willing to fly out and meet clients. Very good work culture. Blue Coat senior leadership/CEO are taking the reins at Symantec who recently acquired Blue Coat.
Cons
Challenge will be for the Blue Coat Execs to turn Symantec into a Sales & Engineering driven company and not a finance driven company that has quarterly RIF's to simply make a financial metric. I just can't imagine the new Symc CEO and the legacy Symc CFO having beers together.
