Business Outlook
Pros
No micromanagement. Possible to work from home depending on department you work in. You’ll learn a lot, good for entry level positions and gaining experience. Have never laid people off due to a recession.
Cons
Strict non-compete agreements. Pay is usually at the lower end of the field you’re working in. High turnover. Purposefully understaffed. When they do hire people, they hire entry-level workers or people who take low salaries for a reason, so don’t expect much support. Managers are usually assigned to multiple departments; so while there’s no micromanagement, there’s also little help when problems arise.
