I’ve been here for going on 7 years and find myself content with virtually all aspects of the job. Management tends to be fairly transparent. Good place to learn.

Lack of overtime but this is due to economic factors currently.

“Cool place to work with interesting projects and good people.” They work on some pretty cool stuff, and the environment is laid-back but productive. The team is decent—friendly and easy to get along with. The facility is modern and well-equipped, with plenty of amenities that make the workday more enjoyable.

“Outdated systems, lack of training, and a rigid culture” This company struggles with modernization—both in its systems and workplace culture. There is no real training program in place, and new employees are expected to come in already knowing everything. You’re often left to figure things out on your own using outdated documentation. The environment is heavily micromanaged, and communication is poor. There’s a strong corporate mentality despite being a relatively small site that was acquired by a larger company. Local leadership seems to have little authority, and decisions are often made by the parent company. Socially, the culture can feel exclusionary. Long-time employees form a tight-knit group that can come across as judgmental and passive-aggressive, making it hard for new team members to integrate. Unfortunately, there is also a noticeable lack of diversity. Unless you have a strong manufacturing background and prefer a very structured, old-school environment, this may not be the best fit.
