Pros
Bluemercury is growing when other companies are cutting back. They promote from within almost exclusively. The stores are beautiful and they carry some of the best luxury beauty products .Team atmosphere, everyone expected to do their part. The staff is diverse and tends to be experienced. I work with women and men from their 20's to 60's. Professional makeup artists and people who have experience selling skincare , not a high pressure sales environment, more of a consultative/ building relationships sales model. Gratis is really amazing! When they say "Product junkie's wanted" it's the truth! That is the person who staffs it and that is the customer.
Cons
A few growing pains because of their rapid expansion. Technology isn't cutting edge but they are working on it. There is no stock person, or cleaning crew in most stores so if you are too proud to mop the floor, clean the bathroom or ticket merchandise you may want to look elsewhere. It's retail, so expect to work weekends, holidays.
