Pros
If you are starting out in sales and need a place to get that Blufox is not horrible. Depending on location there is definitely money to be made. If you’re just looking for something where you get to stand around with your phone in your hand all day bored? Love never having any sort of connection with other stores in the company other than a childish message board on a broken inventory and clock in system? Go for it. This is not to say there can’t be good people in stores. My experience with a few of my coworkers was actually extremely positive and I consider a few of them friends to this day. With the right trading program a lot could be fixed.
Cons
Look if you’ve worked in retail telecommunications sales before you understand how third parties work. I’m not gonna sit here and write some long drawn out thing about everything wrong with Blufox. It’s the same thing wrong with every partner across all companies in the space. Upper management does not care about you as a rep. At all. Comcast is on their backs to put up numbers so therefore you get to hear about how bad you are doing from a reluctant store manager who has been berated about how badly they are doing at their job. The trickle down belittlement is truly rampant as it is across the rest of the space. Oh by the way cold calling customers who purchased internet over a year ago to beg them to buy just another mobile service claiming to be as good as Verizon is a joke.
