Pros

Best product. Period. Passionate aggressive culture. Room to grow if you have patience, perseverance., and thick skin. The future is very bright.

Cons

Many of the complaints I see here have some merit. But I think are greatly magnified by some with an entitlement attitude. The Good old boy label does fit. But recognize that mentality has worked here for a century...so don't expect that to change. Millennials beware... While the company needs you, you'll have to be patient and pay your dues until the old guard rotates out. The upside will be huge for you!

free lunch, discounts on products, hours were 7-3 which allowed for a quick day

15 days of PTO, no sick days, zero flexibility to work from home, poor leadership, underpaid, misogynistic culture My experience at Boar’s Head ultimately led me to conclude that there was little opportunity for growth, inconsistent leadership, and a workplace culture that tolerated behavior I found unprofessional and, at times, discriminatory. The biggest lesson I learned at Boar’s Head is that hard work and loyalty are not enough when leadership has already decided who will and will not be given opportunities.
