Some good people feel stuck there

Cons

Route Supervisor ("Bundy") is clueless on how to manage or do his job properly. He openly plays favorites and asks employees to deliver meat and cheese that has been unrefridgerated for hours. Everyone gets paid "salary" to "make payroll easier". "You'll rarely work over 40 hours" but after 5+ years I was done working 8 hours of overtime for free.

free lunch, discounts on products, hours were 7-3 which allowed for a quick day

15 days of PTO, no sick days, zero flexibility to work from home, poor leadership, underpaid, misogynistic culture My experience at Boar’s Head ultimately led me to conclude that there was little opportunity for growth, inconsistent leadership, and a workplace culture that tolerated behavior I found unprofessional and, at times, discriminatory. The biggest lesson I learned at Boar’s Head is that hard work and loyalty are not enough when leadership has already decided who will and will not be given opportunities.
