Pros

Food purchases in the kitchen upstairs.

Cons

management is ungrateful, simply wants production at any cost. HR department is always looking to fire someone. The place is very dirty for a food company, and the product isn't as good as the price would suggest. 25 cents a year raises for everyone no matter how hard you work.

free lunch, discounts on products, hours were 7-3 which allowed for a quick day

15 days of PTO, no sick days, zero flexibility to work from home, poor leadership, underpaid, misogynistic culture My experience at Boar’s Head ultimately led me to conclude that there was little opportunity for growth, inconsistent leadership, and a workplace culture that tolerated behavior I found unprofessional and, at times, discriminatory. The biggest lesson I learned at Boar’s Head is that hard work and loyalty are not enough when leadership has already decided who will and will not be given opportunities.
