      Pros

      Amazing work life balance; lucky to have worked with colleagues who are smart, respectful and considerate. Great benefits, especially the learning and career development support (LTP). Lots of work for young professionals to develop and grow; i.e. those willing to take charge of their careers.

      Cons

      Been a tough couple of years overall, but amazed at how hopeful and resilient folks I have had the honor to work with have weathered and continue to press forward with incredibly resilience and positivity.

      Pros

      For context, I work on the defense side. The work is really fun and exciting with a lot of opportunities to grow. My team is close knit, supportive, and very passionate. Being a part of a union means paid overtime, which is really unusual for software.

      Cons

      Workload is insane. I often work weekends and have pulled 60-80 hour weeks many times. PTO is bare minimum. I have a lot of fun at work, but if I'm putting in startup-level effort, I should not be making well below market rate.
