      Flex hours, great pay and benefits, many locations around area to work at, company paid training and education.

      Cons

      Outsourced jobs. No call backs when laid off. Office politics. Job titles not 100% accurate of job duties worked.

      Pros

      For context, I work on the defense side. The work is really fun and exciting with a lot of opportunities to grow. My team is close knit, supportive, and very passionate. Being a part of a union means paid overtime, which is really unusual for software.

      Cons

      Workload is insane. I often work weekends and have pulled 60-80 hour weeks many times. PTO is bare minimum. I have a lot of fun at work, but if I'm putting in startup-level effort, I should not be making well below market rate.
