      Compensation was competitive but bonuses were not and not given

      Cons

      The politics, culture, deception, wokeness, and complete lack of focus on quality and excellence. The leadership and executives are an incompetent! The product is no longer aerospace innovation; it is the stock price! The company is being destroyed through cheap outsourcing and lack of design and innovation.

      Pros

      For context, I work on the defense side. The work is really fun and exciting with a lot of opportunities to grow. My team is close knit, supportive, and very passionate. Being a part of a union means paid overtime, which is really unusual for software.

      Cons

      Workload is insane. I often work weekends and have pulled 60-80 hour weeks many times. PTO is bare minimum. I have a lot of fun at work, but if I'm putting in startup-level effort, I should not be making well below market rate.
