      Pros

      There are many places to move around in the company. The benefits they provide are competitive, especially the 401(k). Also the pay is good later on as you move up levels. Really interesting work.

      Cons

      Very big, very corporate. They try to get you specialized and to stay were you are.

      Pros

      For context, I work on the defense side. The work is really fun and exciting with a lot of opportunities to grow. My team is close knit, supportive, and very passionate. Being a part of a union means paid overtime, which is really unusual for software.

      Cons

      Workload is insane. I often work weekends and have pulled 60-80 hour weeks many times. PTO is bare minimum. I have a lot of fun at work, but if I'm putting in startup-level effort, I should not be making well below market rate.
