Pros
Every time I try to leave Boeing I end up staying because the benefits are better then any other job offer I received. Health care is free if you make under a certain amount and choose the high deductible plan. 401K is a 10% match. They have paid for me to get my MBA and many certificates. (They pay up to 25K a year for MBA) They pay for my pet sitting when I travel (up to 2k a year). Good work life balance. I work 9 80's so I have every other Friday off and 5 weeks of PTO a year plus holidays.
Cons
Its extremely difficult to move up or get a pay raise. Yearly raises are minimal (maybe 3% yearly if the company is doing well) and promotions are rare. Management is hit or miss. You have to apply internally to try and get a raise but sometimes they wont even consider internal applicants for a position. Its easy to get frustrated after a few years of making low wages with no growth.
