      Lots of room to grow, great benefits, many locations

      Cons

      Risk and innovation averse culture (at least in HR). HR supports the customers better than they develop their own. Boeing likes it's leadership 'home grown' so it's difficult for outside managers to get in

      Pros

      For context, I work on the defense side. The work is really fun and exciting with a lot of opportunities to grow. My team is close knit, supportive, and very passionate. Being a part of a union means paid overtime, which is really unusual for software.

      Cons

      Workload is insane. I often work weekends and have pulled 60-80 hour weeks many times. PTO is bare minimum. I have a lot of fun at work, but if I'm putting in startup-level effort, I should not be making well below market rate.
