Layoffs are poor planning plain and simple! There are no benefits or “pros” to watching colleagues getting fired en mass.

Cons

The head of BD is a pompous know it all who needs to go. He’s responsible for revenue and revenue planning. For someone who fancies himself a thought leader and acts that he’s smarter than anyone, he’s not making his numbers.
