Is this your company?

Pros

The employee discount is nice.

Cons

Low pay, not enough hours, management only cares about you if you're able to push discount cards and magazine scams on people. Hard work on the floor gets you nothing. You'll give the company all you can and they will take it with a smirk and a snarky comment about selling more cards. Also, if you're working 18 hours a week and ask for a few more hours so you can make rent, they will promptly hire some slag from another store and give them 13 of your hours. Amazing.

Pros

Opportunities to move up and gain more knowledge, enjoyable workplace with flexibility and open lines of communication. Feel valued and fulfilled. Corporate and home office has improved communication and clarity significantly, Company allows stores more freedom in how they achieve success and what their stores can decide on when it comes to changes and updates.

Cons

In my opinion, pay can be on the lower end. Experience can be dependent on your management/person above you, but that is usual.
